In that story about Solomon, the wise king, when two women both claim to be the mother of a single infant, his wise answer is to declare that he will slice the child in two, and they can each have half (WTF?!)
The first woman has no problem with this (even more WTF?!) but the second is very upset, thus proving that she is the mother.
This was the wisest guy in the Bible? What would that women do with half a baby and why was she okay with it—and how is it that no one else was concerned about Solomon’s solution? So many questions…How does any of this make sense?
